Everything you need to know about the CAMPhA mentorship program.
Who can apply to be a mentee?
Any CAMPhA member — from pharmacy student to seasoned pharmacist — can apply. We welcome mentees from all practice settings and career stages, with a dedicated track for international medical graduates (IMGs).
How long does a mentorship last?
Our standard program runs 6 months, with an option to extend by mutual agreement. Meetings typically happen every 2–4 weeks — you and your mentor decide the cadence that fits your schedules.
Is there a cost to participate?
The mentorship program is a member benefit — included with CAMPhA membership. Students receive discounted membership rates. There are no additional fees for participating as either mentor or mentee.
How are mentors and mentees matched?
Matches are made by our program coordinators based on career goals, practice setting, geographic preferences, and specialty interests. Each mentee is introduced to 1–2 suggested mentors and chooses the best fit after an initial chemistry call.
What if the match isn't working out?
It happens — and it's okay. Reach out to our program coordinators and we'll confidentially rematch you with a different mentor. No awkwardness required.
How do I become a mentor?
We welcome mentors with 5+ years of U.S. pharmacy experience. Apply via the "Become a Mentor" form — we'll schedule an onboarding call to align on expectations and introduce you to our mentor community.
