The Cameroonian Pharmacists Association-USA is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization under the IRS tax code. It's vision is to empower its members to be leaders in the provision of patient care services in a compassionate and ethical manner.
The compliance committee's primary objective is to help the CamPhA navigate its regulatory compliance obligations.
This committee role and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state law is a responsibility of 501 (c)(3) status
- Ensuring that CamPhA engages in activities that promote its tax exemption, such as applying for grants to operate its programs
- Ensuring recordkeeping for transparency, compliance with the IRS and state law, and establishing credibility of CamPhA’s 501(c)(3) status
- Reviewing and approving contracts, interactions, and expenses with internal and external partners
- Approving of materials for distribution
- Monitoring and/or auditing responsibilities

This committee role and responsibilities for the convention include:
- Ensuring that CamPhA engages in activities during the convention promotes its tax exemption (applying for grants and fundraising used to operate convention activities)
- Ensuring recordkeeping for all activities around the convention for transparency, compliance with the IRS and state law, and establishing credibility of CamPhA’s 501(c)(3) status
